Patrick Horsman is a successful serial entrepreneur, investor, and real estate expert. To help others succeed in the areas he knows best, he launched Patrick Horsman Giving to support undergraduates interested in entrepreneurship with scholarship funds. Patrick Horsman Giving is pleased to offer the twice-annual scholarship college grant to outstanding students.
The Patrick Horsman Giving scholarship supports talented and motivated students by helping with their higher-education costs. The goal is to help these students build a foundation for the skills and ambition they need to become successful entrepreneurs.
What it takes to apply.
Eligibility criteria
- Be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Be pursuing a degree in business, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Grades are a strong consideration, but the essay matters most.
- Verify enrollment with your .edu email address.
Your essay (1–2 pages)
- Why do you want to become an entrepreneur?
- Why do you believe you will be successful?
- What is your edge?
- And finally, what is your business idea?
The essay is your opportunity to express yourself and communicate, directly to Mr. Horsman, your genuine desire to become an entrepreneur.
How to apply
Candidates email a 1–2 page Word document (12-point font, double-spaced) containing the essay. After the essay, in the same document, include the following:
- First and last name
- Cell number
- College mailing address
- Name of the college or university in attendance
- Email address (use your .edu address to verify enrollment)
- Expected graduation date
- Current GPA (screenshot from your university portal)
